Show of the Week: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer Beta vs Outside Xbox

The beta is a chance to get a first look at the new Specialists system in Black Ops 3. Specialists are the nine characters you can play as in multiplayer, and each has a choice of two distinct special abilities that are unlocked as you level up. The better you’re doing in a match, the quicker you’ll get access to your ability, similar to the way you got your Titan in Titanfall.

These abilities range from powerful weapons, such as Outrider’s compound bow and Ruin’s Gravity Spikes, to tactical abilities, such as Battery’s bullet-deflecting armour, or Prophet’s Glitch ability, which makes him teleport back to a recent position. This comes in pretty handy if you’re suddenly outnumbered, or left home in a hurry and forget if you left the oven on.
