Show of the Week: The 5 Best Worst Games of 2014

As we kick old man 2014 into an unmarked grave and raise newborn 2015 aloft like that bit in The Lion King, there is time for reflection. But we aren't here to tell you which games of 2014 were the best, or even the worst. Show of the Week hails the best worst games of the year just gone.

We're talking about games with which we had a ton of fun but that won't be winning any BAFTAs come March 2015. These include D4 such as D4, which was madder than a box of frogs and hooked us with its kooky tale of a time-travelling plane or something.

Sniper Elite III also makes the grade as a bog standard sniping game save for one important distinction: the X-ray killcams, which are as anatomically educational as they are ghoulishly compelling. The rest of the game is unremarkable, yes, but does that matter when you see exploding skeletons every 40 seconds? No, is the answer.
