In The Division you play an agent for the Strategic Homeland Division, or "The Division" to its friends, whose job it is to save what remains.

This is achieved mostly by shooting things in a multiplayer open-world New York City, developing your character's skills as you level up, teaming up with other agents, and scavenging better and better loot from the ashes of Manhattan like the human cockroach you are.

You will initially be busy with the story-led missions about upgrading your Base of Operations, and with the extremely risky player-versus-player Dark Zone, for which adept player and friend of Outside Xbox Arekkz Gaming has some valuable tips.

In the coming weeks, The Division will bolster its Dark Zone action and story-led missions with update 1.1 ('Incursion') in April and update 1.2 ('Conflict') in May. These include player loot trading, end-game co-op challenges, and Columbus Circle. More as we get it!
