The game takes place in an open-world slice of midtown Manhattan, which has been ravaged by a modified version of the smallpox virus. The streets are almost deserted and bands of looters and murderous criminals are the only ones left wandering around. Fortunately you're tooled up with gadgets like seeker mines, flamethrower turrets and deployable shields.

In this Xbox One gameplay, we take on the Rikers, a gang of escaped prisoners from the real life Riker's Island prison. They've robbed a bunch of police equipment including riot gear and are holed up in a prime piece of New York real estate. It's clearly our job to murder the lot with extreme prejudice.
