Magnus is a very strong solo mid who relies on passive farming and pushing until he picks up a blink dagger, and then he turns into a bit of a team fight and ganking machine.
His strong points are lots of magic nukes, solid disables and utility, and late game scaling for your team because of empower.
After you get blink, pick up utility items and things like refresher orb so that you can ulti twice. Enjoy!
