Phoenix is back into Dota 2! He's one of my favorite heroes because of how aggressive you can be, and his team fight contribution is really massive, which I find fun.
I like the 4-4-1-2 skill build, or perhaps the 2-4-3-2 skill build. I think maxing dive after spirits when you are behind is a mistake though, since sunray can be used from the distance without being in danger.
Try to build tanky hp items on him like an urn of shadows, treads, or a vitality booster, and aim for utility items that can help you and your teammates stay alive!
