Batrider was recently buffed with an animation increase which means the delay to attack is reduced, which makes him much better at last hitting! This mainly helps in the mid lane, but you can still play batrider in the offlane fairly effectively.
I prioritized a fast blink in this game so that I could start ganking important heroes like Drow Ranger, and then move into the mid game.
